I have a few professional development books on my list including the Whole Brain Teaching Book, but since it is summer I would add the Divergent series to my cart too. Congrats on your milestone! Stacey Teaching Ever After
Not that I need to add another professional book to my stack, but I would purchase Reading in the Wild. Right now, I also have 21 children's books and a fun lantern on my wishlist. Where to start...
500! Holy Cow! What would I do with $50 from Amazon- probably buy another case for my phone. I'm a little obsessed with having cute cases... Carol Teachers Are Terrific!
Carol...I learned a very valuable and expensive lesson this week....keep a Lifeproof case on your phone. I dropped my phone in a toilet, without my Lifeproof case on. So gross!
That is why I don't want to go to grad school...lol! I have more reasons than just that though. I don't think I'd be a very good student after being out of school for so many years.
Congratulations! My favorite place to vacation is Las Vegas. My husband and I actually got married there 6 years ago! :) Thanks for the giveaway! Amy The Core of Grade 4
Congrats on this big milestone, friend!! I do love a good Amazon giveaway. I'm sure I could find some way to spend $50 in no time...I wish I could say that I have vacationed somewhere cool, but we don't get away much. I'm hoping to get to Dallas to see my sister this August. (Great time to visit scorching hot Texas, right?) I hope you'll stop by my blog tomorrow for Positive Thinking Thursday. I might have mentioned you and our favorite past time...
Congrats! Awesome job! How was I not following you on Pinterest? Silly me! A great place that I've traveled to is Savannah GA. My kids and I spent the day there on the way to FL. We had a great time people watching and eating OF COURSE! Michele Coffee Cups and Lesson Plans
Hmmm... since you limited it to the U.S. then I'd have to say Captiva and Sanibel Islands. So beautiful there! I was amazed at all the piles of shells that washed up on the beaches each day. I got a horrible sunburn on my back because I spent too many hours bent over while looking at and collecting the shells ;-)
I am originally from Naples...which is not to far from there. It is BEAUTIFUL there!!! You just made me smile bringing back memories of collecting shells on the beach there most of my life! :)
I LOVE Sanibel Island! We stayed in Naples, but my husband and I rode our bikes over there and spent the entire days exploring the island. The beaches are amazing and peaceful.
So excited about your accomplishment. I am slowly gaining followers, you are a true inspiration! I am surprised Amazon does not offer a auto debit from teacher's paychecks since I know teachers are huge Amazon shoppers!
I heart readin' your comments and replyin' to you. Please be sure to check to see that you aren't a "no-reply blogger" so I can comment to you via email. Happy readin'!

I put the Divergent series on my Kindle this past year. They would be a great summer read. :)

ReplyDeleteYour blog is ADORABLE and super sweet!
DeleteMy favorite place to visit and relax is Clearwater beach, FL. It has the best sand and I love that I can see through the water.
ReplyDeleteI used to live about two hours from Clearwater. Where I live now the water is really clear too, which I like because I don't like creatures! Lol!
DeleteI came over from Wordless Wednesday, thanks for the giveaway!

DeleteCongratulations, friend!! What would I buy with $50? I'd be boring and buy a book for my grad classes. Those things cost way too much! ;)

DeleteBy the way, I LOVE the updated button and header in your store, looks bright and great! Think I might need to update my button ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you....I'm going to actually write about them soon. A sweet friend made them for me!
