Positive Thinking Thursday...nap time!

Hello, Thursday!
Time to link up with my friend Jennifer
for Positive Thinking Thursday.

http://mrslaffinslaughings.blogspot.com/2014/04/positive-thinking-thursday-4-17-14.html

I need all the positivity I can get this week.
It has been a super long week of testin'.
Only two more days left next week...that's a positive.
I'm super good at always findin' the negative in every situation, so
this linky is perfect for me to get grounded
and try to look at the sunny side up instead.
What could be more positive than takin' naps?

I dedicate this post to my other favorite Ali from
She is the only person I know that appreciates
the true art and power of nap takin'!

Admit it...you laughed!

See...I knew there was a reason I loved to nap.
I feel smarter already.

Who knew?

Don't judge!

Why yes...yes, I absolutely DO have what it takes!
Anyone else up for this challenge?

I seriously need one of these in my life.
For real...how fun would this be?
It would be fantabulous to use for the nap challenge.

It's true...I do!

Take a nap...I promise it will make you feel better.

Happy Thursday, friends!
Stay positive!

  1. I remember nap time in Kindergarten - those were the glory days. Sometimes after a long drive in which I napped in the car I need a nap when I get home. This post made me need a nap.

  2. Ah hahahahahahahaha!! I totally related (resembled) to Every. Single. One. of those!! Especially the one about "When life knocks you down, take a nap." I totally do that! When I'm overwhelmed, I'll totally shut down and go take a nap.
I'm so glad we're kindred spirits in so many things, but especially with the art of nap taking.
    : ) : ) : )

  4. I seriously can nap ANYTIME! Just a couple weeks ago, I laid my head on my desk after work (sitting in my rolling chair) and took a little nap. :) My kids will be seven and four this summer and I don't want to give up nap time for the seven year old (1:00-3:00!). They are wonderful nappers and I usually lay down 2:00-3:00 ALL summer long! If she won't nap, she'll have "quiet time" in her bedroom. I'm SO with you!!

  5. I love this! I always say sleep is my coping mechanism. I took a nap today when I came home before I did my workout. As a grad student, I often have to nap after work before I can study. I love naps!

  7. I nap every day when I am not at school. Funny story...we were having a really rough day at school last week. Lots of chatting and messing around. I turned out the lights, put on some quiet piano music, and told the kids to take a five minute brain break with their eyes and mouths shut. Three students fell asleep....Leading me to believe that naps should be a part of our day, every day, no matter how old we get. (Now they ask almost every day if we can do this...) Thanks for linking up and for spreading the importance of the all-powerful nap!

  10. Okay, I am convinced. My puppy naps, and she definitely has more energy than I can handle at times. Maybe I should take a cue from her.

    Have a great weekend!

  12. Grrrrrrrrr----I can't nap. It ruins my entire day and I end of feeling sleepy the rest of the day. I'm not saying I don't like them, but they're not good for me.

I think I read somewhere that JFK could fall asleep anywhere and a 5 minute nap would rejuvenate him for the entire day--I wish.

Your memes killed me. The only thing better would be combining naps with bacon.

  13. I love it!!! I tried so many times last week to nap, but I seem to be more of a spontaneous napper than a planned napper....lol!!

  14. Love! I have a student who asks every day if we can take a nap. She says we should swap out the desks with cots in the afternoon. LOL!
