I set up my class on Tween Tribune last night after reading your post. We had BYOT (bring your own technology) day today, so many of my students had handheld devices with them. During science/SS time this afternoon, I introduced my students to TT Junior and gave them 15 minutes to choose/read an article and leave a comment. They LOVE it almost as much as I do! Thank you SO much for the suggestion!
This makes me so happy to hear that your kids enjoyed TT. It really is a great site. I truly enjoy reading my students' comments. I make such a big deal about them replying to a website that any kid in the world can see their comment on and it always amazes me at how hard they try to make their comment snazzy! Thanks for taking the time to come write to me!
