Saturday Snapshots...

I'm linkin' up again with Miss Nelson @ Run! Miss Nelson's Got the Camera for "Saturday Snapshots".
I missed last week due to a trip and this week I have minimal pictures because Miss Nelson and I  have been workin' non-stop on a new project...or I should say, we have TRIED workin' on a new project, but a brand new puppy is makin' life interestin'.  When you scold the puppy, it just licks you...everywhere.  It licks on your pants, or your toes, or your shirt, or your hands, or the walls; it likes to lick walls!  I've never seen a dog lick a wall.  I seriously don't know what to think.   I was goin' to add a picture of the wall licker, but since it's her dog, I'll let her do the honors.

This is my sweet nephew, J.   This was right before we took a five hour road-trip.  He was such a good sport to let me torture play along with me when I wanted to take his picture.

J's first experience eatin' a ham & cheese sub from Jimmy John's.  He ate every single bite.  Impressive!

Got some yummies at Milk and Honey, a local Fro-Yo place.

Had to go to the dentist this week.  The water fall/fountain thing is pretty calmin' when there is a drill in your mouth.  It doesn't quite drown out the noise, but it helps ease the pain a little.  It's definitely not as effective as Novocaine though.

Mr. Nelson stocked us up on snacks.  My idea of a good eatin' time is NOT when I have WHEY PROTEIN in my ice cream.  Blech!  I wish I would have never tasted that as long as I live.  He definitely tricked us.  Good thing he bought a Heath Bar for back-up.  He will no longer be allowed to go on snack runs.  This is not up for discussion as far as I'm concerned.  I kid, I kid.  It was very kind of him to stock up on energy food for Miss Nelson and I.

My little Seeds of Happiness Apple.  It makes me smile when I glance in its direction.  Isn't it cute?

Saw this at Moe's...made me giggle.  I'm sure I probably tried that once or twice, or 111 times before I was old enough to have an I.D.

Finished another Special Edition of Behavior Beads this week while workin' at Miss Nelson's house.  I think they go very well with the other two sets.

Don't forget to check out the original Behavior Beads in Miss Nelson's TpT store.

Can't wait to see what everyone else has been up to this week.

  7. Oh my goodness, the water feature in the dentist office is cracking me up! It is so much better than the "Relax" sign in front of the chair at my dentist's office...lol..."relax" just doesn't do much for a root canal. I think I would have liked the fountain better. haha

    1. I would probably rip the "Relax" sign off the wall. I haven't had to have the dreaded root canal ...yet. I'm sure I'll go into hiding if that ever occurs!

  8. Hi Alison! I h.a.t.e. the dentist, and I have an appointment this week (I won't tell you how long it's been since my last appointment)...I am hoping that my dentist has one of those waterfall thingies (and if not, I'll take Novocaine).

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm your newest follower!

  10. I love Fro-Yo places, my little town I actually has one, I was super excited when I found it. The wall fountain looks nice at the dentist, I still think they should put t.v.'s on the ceiling to really help distract you. I have such dentist anxiety. And that sign made me giggle too! :) Thanks for sharing your pictures are great.

    1. I was thinking the same thing about the T.V.'s. Unfortunately, my dentist's office has very high ceilings. It might be like watching ants on the ceiling. Lol!

  11. I wish my dentist had a nice waterfall/fountain for me to look at while he is diggin' around in my mouth! It's hard to stay mad at a puppy, especially when he's licking and wagging his tail! I've got two pooches myself and they can be little rascals, but I love them nonetheless! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
