Nailed it, again...bein' glam-glow-orous!

I'm baaaaaaaack.
I didn't really go anywhere.
I just lost touch with reality
because I started playin' a new app...
I'm on level 124.
It's similar to Candy Crush, but I had to try somethin'
new after bein' stuck on level 409 of CC for months.
I abadoned it because it made me say
bad things.
I'm sure this new obsession will be short lived.

It's Tuesday...time to link-up with my sweet friend Holly from
Fourth Grade Flipper for Tried it Tuesday AND I'm linkin' up with my
other favorite Ali from Teaching (Powered by Caffeine) for her
"lovin' it & over it" linky!

Tried it Awesomeness #1: Jamberry Nails

Hello Black and White polka-dot Jamberry nails!
These make me happy!

Not bad for a first timer!

Still goin' strong four days later!

This took me about 40 minutes from start to finish.
I went back and forth between usin' a hair dryer and
a warm rice bag for application.
It's easy.  I promise.

If I'm able do this...YOU can do this!
Keep readin' to find out how!

What are Jamberry Nails?

So pretty aren't they?
How would you like to win your very own Jamberry nails?
Go to my Jamberry consultant Veronica Porche's

Tried it Awesomeness #2: Glam Glow
Have you seen this on Pinterest?
I couldn't NOT order it...it looked too amazin'.
Of course I hopped on Amazon and it came
in two days..I'm lovin' Amazon Prime.
It's a lil' pricey, but I shopped around for the best
price.  Just make sure it is sold by Glamglow.

Before...a lil' nervous...

It smells like licorice and the color was questionable, but
I was too far into it to give up.
I can't believe I'm postin' this on the interwebs.

It was definitely gettin' somethin' up from my face.
I'm sure I will need to use it more than once
to see some super duper results, but
I felt like I was havin' a face lift because
my skin instantly tightened from the mud.

I don't know if I'm in the ranks of a glamorous
movie star yet, but I'm gonna keep tryin'!

I'm over standardized testin'.
OVER IT!
I don't really think I need to elaborate.
If you're a teacher readin' this...you probably feel
the same way I do.
Just let me teach.
Sendin' out positive vibes to my buddies
givin' FCAT Writes this week.
Oh yeah...and let's not forget laundry...
I'm over that too!

I hope you have your cart full for the
3 Millon Teachers Strong Sale

I've got my TpT store set for 20% off and

  1. Jamberry---I've seen this all over the place, but I wasn't sure if they actually "fit" the nail and stayed on. Your look great! No peeling or chipping yet?

I told you you'd love Amazon Prime! I'm gonna write to them and see if they'll give teachers a discount on that. Most of us use it to order books for our classroom etc., so why not? Right? : )

I couldn't agree more about laundry. This past weekend was my weekend to do laundry, and I just. couldn't. do. it. Came home from work right after we got out yesterday to do it. Now it'll sit in the basket 'til next weekend waiting to be folded. I need a laundress. ; )

Thanks for linking up, sweetie! You always have such neat things to share.

  2. I'm in LOVE with your polka dot nails. I need you to come do mine :). Isn't Glamglow awesome? You were brave to post your pics. I almost posted mine as well. My skin felt so tight and smooth after even the first application. My pores even looked smaller. I can't wait to sign up when I get home for your little giveaway. Hope you are surving the lunchroom since you had to move out of your pod.

  3. Your nails look awesome! I got a free sample from that Jamberry consultant you sent me too, but I think she sent me one of the kid wraps because it doesn't fit on my nail! haha! I requested a new one from Veronica so I can try it. I'm so wanting to fall in love with this product! I've never heard of Glam Glow... I'll start my research now!

  6. I just took my Jamberry nails off - I am having a wee bit of difficulty applying them smoothly - may have to try the rice. Yours look great. Those are some great pics of your glamglowing self : ) I am glad you are back from the land of candy (at least long enough to share with us!)

  7. Your nails look FABULOUS!!! The picture of the supplies needed is a little scary though. Can you come do mine? While you are here, we'll mud up our faces with Glamglow! I love you even more (if that's possible) for posting the pictures of your facelift! You always make me smile! :)

  8. Your nails look great - I have been wondering about the Jamberry nails because I have seen them everywhere on-line, but I haven't seen them in person yet. I agree I am over standardized tests too! We don't do ours until April (the week after Spring Break no less)! I wish we could just teach!

  9. I love the polka dots!!! I need get better about taking pictures of all my Jamicures!
I'm over all the testing as well. We don't test until April, but I hate all the emphasis that gets put on the test! I know your kiddos will rock their test!!!!
