Saturday Snapshots...

I'm linkin' up again with Run! Miss Nelson's Got the Camera for "Saturday Snapshots".  I've been doin' a lot of blog stalkin', so I haven't had a great opportunity to take a lot of snapshots this week.  I did do some runnin' around and snatched up a few items here and there that I NEEDED...haha!

I picked up this cute little plant thingy at a thrift shop for my classroom.  I am goin' to either add a ribbon around it or a little paint to make it more fun.

I picked up these two little cuties at a thrift shop also.  The purple one will house rulers and the green one will house my "number sticks".  They need a little flair too to spruce them up!

Every teacher needs new bright pens in their life for the beginnin' of school.  They just help you be a better teacher, right?  Or at least that's what I tell myself.

Owl eye mask I scooped up at Michael's by the register.
They really are so clever the way they arrange things.
I always end up buyin' things I don't really need because of this.
"Who who" could pass this up? Not this girl!

Hello $1 frames at Michael's. They match my class colors and will give my tables some "pop".  I saw some new baskets at Walmart that I wanted, but of course they didn't have yellow.

Snapped this while drivin'(actually I was obeyin' the law again).

Lookin' out the other direction and BOOM...dropped my phone out the window.  Thank you Lifeproof case.  I don't care how much you cost; you are goin' to save me much heartache and save my phone's life.

Played a little Spite and Malice with my Nitty and her lady friends.  It was even better when I finally won a game.

Took the ladies to eat at Chic-fil-a's Dwarf House.  I've never been waited on before in a Chic-fil-a, so this was a brand new experience for me.

We had no idea it was "Dress Like a Cow" day.
I've never seen so many cows in my entire life!
Isn't my Nitty just precious?  She was bein' a good sport lettin' me torture her.

Hope you all are havin' a happy Saturday.  I'm headin' back home today.  I sure am goin' to miss my Nitty.
I leave you with a this link to From Mrs. Allen's Teaching Files.  Her post on Friday had me laughin'.
I'm sure we have all felt like some of these at one time or another...I related to all of them!

  1. Great pictures.. You better be careful with your phone. I hope it doesn't only have 9 lives because you probably only have 5 left. Your nitty is precious and those $1 frames are precious.

    1. This phone BETTER have more than 5 lives left or else I'm goin' to be stuck with the one whose screen doesn't even come on. Last year they revoked my phone insurance for havin' too many claims. Seriously??

  7. I have an otterbox, but I need a new case. My hubby requires that I have a case that is "Deniece Proof" a.k.a. can drop 5x in a row and still work!

    1. So far I've survived three weeks with the Lifeproof. We shall see how long it lasts! I had an Otterbox and got tired of it.

  8. So I saw your blog and thought "perfect!" Let me nominate her for the Liebster Award! And so I did.. and then I realized you already had it! What a fail! Ha! So anyway, if you'd still like a free item from my store for being nominated, feel free to stop over and shoot me an email of what'd you like! :)
