Water Ventures Learning Lab...

Last week my class had a nice surprise organized from
our awesome Science Leadership Team captain.
Kim teaches 4th grade, but invited my class
to tag along with hers.
We are so glad that invitation was extended to us.

Water Ventures Florida’s Learning Lab is a traveling science center.
This amazing vehicle is actually a 53 foot semi-trailer which
has been customized to provide a platform for
educational outreach programs.  The truck assembly
will travel across Florida visiting schools, communities, and events.
A dynamic staff of trained educators will travel with the truck
and they will interact directly with the public at every venue.

This was a super cool adventure for us.
Have any of my Florida bloggy buddies experienced this?

Don't live in Florida, but want to do a virtual field trip?

Are You Smarter Than a Crayfish?, and Reptile Adaptations

This was a definite winner in my book!

I've been super lazy after returnin' from our overnight
trip to Sea World and haven't felt like
bein' Bloggy McBloggerson.
I will share my trip soon though.

Happy Tuesday, friends!

  1. That looks SO cool!!!! I can't wait to hear about your overnight with Shamu...I'm very glad that you lived to tell the tale.

  2. What an awesome experience! I wonder how this compares to the cost of a field trip. So many of the schools in my area have banned them due to budget restrictions.

  3. That looks like.... AMAZING! I have the webpage bookmarked to check out after school is done! Can't wait to hear about your Sea World trip!!! Hopefully it didn't stink too much!

    1. The trip didn't stink, but I sure did after 39 hours...lol! :)

  4. Can't wait to show this to my husband who teaches Science - he actually had an idea to do something like this...but obviously not water themed now! :)

  5. I love this! I need to look into something like this in my area. As you can tell I'm catching up on reading through my favorite blogs! I was on a hiatus for a bit.

  6. What a great learning experience. Okay, enough napping now tell us about the over night trip : )

  7. I'm a bit behind on my blogs. I heard about this at a conference I went to in November. That is on my list of things to organize for next year. It looks awesome!
